Kylie's Beach Crowdy Bay NP

Checked into great camping spot called Kylie's Beach just along from Diamond Head, south of  Port Macquarie .(NP's are very expensive $10 per head and body per night for cold showers and drop toilets) Swam in the ocean and then found out there was a shark attack 3 kms or so down the coast. No more swimming.

Had a great pushy ride to Kylie's Hut and Indian Head Beach and then walked to the natural arch. Great views and sunny at last. Kylie's Hut was built during WW11 by Kylie Tennant and an old fella called Ernie Metcalf who owned the land. This is where she wrote a book all about the area called the Man on the Headland.
John has gone fishing - hope we have fish for dinner.Nope no fish, but we now have worms with which to fish and lots of excellent advice from a lovely old man called Bob from Sydney.
